Sensei is back :')

vovan1 • 1 year ago

lol, i guessed the ending right again :D

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

Also, unfortunately... No
The ending you guessed was Shinpei learnt how to use power of loop and jump back to the beginning. But, it actually wasn't Shinpei.
Shinpei already lost the ability to loop after enter Shadow's World, it was Shadow Ushio who still have that ability left.

So, it worked like this.
Shadow Ushio erased the whale by the time Hiruko send them back to the past so that it can transfer data to the whale to start all over again.

After erase the whale, Ryuunosuke and Haine disappeared first.
Before Shadow Ushio disappeared, she used the last of her time to enter the time tunnel to send a message to Nagumo-sensei of the past.

Then, she went to find Shinpei when he was still time travelling for the first time after being granted the ability to travel through time by Shadow Ushio of that timeline. It was also during that time in the time tunnel that the current Shadow Ushio sent message to Shinpei.

Finally, who is it that wake up in the end??
The current Shinpei. Why he get sent back to when he met Nagumo-sensei on the boat? Because, everything change by the time he accepted the ability and step on the island. So, he get to restart from the time he first met sensei.
Everything after that had all been changed.

So... yup... Your answer wasn't accurate nor close. It was Ushio who sent him back, the current Shinpei get sent to a new timeline where Shadow doesn't exists.

Extra information: Haine get her own manga. Based on what others told me, it seems that she is actually a genius. That girl deserved every kind of reward in her reincarnation.

Paul Paul • 1 year ago

So if they erased the Hiruko from 300 years ago in the past does that mean that Ryuunoske is still alive as there would be no Shadow to kill him or does it only apply to 2018 because thats how far Ushio was able to go before her body dissappeared?

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

300 years worth of events with Shadows involved in it had been changed.
As for Shinpei's parents... I don't know. Because, if you watched Steins;Gate and as the other viewers explained: Time repairs itself sort of thing. Shinpei's parents PROBABLY would still be dead due to accident during their work [any work on/in the ocean can always be dangerous].

ihavenolife • 1 year ago

i love steins;gate a lot but all time travel shit always confuses me lol but thankfully people like you who can comprehend it exist

Kirito • 1 year ago

That's why I love time travel anything can happen if you change the timeline this is gonna get exciting because there's no more shadow

Yes, he's alive and Haine is the reincarnation of Ryuunosuke's daughter. Ushio is alive too.

Kirito • 1 year ago

That's also my guess after that 300 years this new timeline has no shadows and they're back at the start in episode 1 but there's no shadow anymore so everyone is alive

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

Yes, Ryuunosuke is still alive.

As for Haine, she either died of aging, else died to the famine that was mentioned before.
But, worry not. For what she had suffered through and thank to her contribution that this all had been made possible, Haine had been reincarnated as Ryuunosuke's daughter in the new timeline without Shadow.

Meroko Yui • 1 year ago

Real Ryunosuke didn't die but Shadow Rynosuke wasn't born in this world, same as Shadow Mio and Shadow Ushio. It actually ends bittersweet as yes no tragedies from the Shadows happened but even good shadows don't exist in this timeline. As for Haine Shinpei questions why he thought Ryunosuke's daughter reminded him of Haine. This might possibly true but who knows. What I'm not 100% sure about is Shadow Ushio as I don't recall him saying he'd buy her 10 or 100 Takoyaki when he got her to hide in a gap. In this case Shadow Ushio might've became the real Ushio..

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

Oh, for this case.
I can only say, Shadow's existence rely on data.
Data can be memory and personality or other thing.
And the rest is Steins;Gate
So, it makes no difference either it is Shadow Ushio or Ushio. Both the same to me.

Meroko Yui • 1 year ago

I've read the manga. As far as it goes only Shadow Ushio might be confirmed to still be around as the question that ends the manga at the end puts this out their that it was highly likely Shadow Ushio who Shinpei talked to and went oh about and welcomed back. Not sure since I don't remember him stating he'd buy her like 100 Takoyaki. Real Haine got to live mind you so she was able to have decendants and nothing truly confirms Haine reincarnated. No other shadows show to still be around either. This being said Ushio's shadow might be the only one that got to remain after she absorbed Haine. Shadow Ushio ends up being who Shinpei was disappointed to lose and who his affections went to when he went to the new present now supposedly with the original Ushio alive still and Shadow Ushio not existing. Key word is supposedly in being original Ushio and not Shadow Ushio at the end. It's likely Shadow Ushio.

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

I don't know how to explain this in complete sentences, but...
Shadow=Data copied from human, but data in humanoid form.
And if refer to Steins;Gate, memories[equal to data] from other timeline can pass on to other timeline self of you which will come in the form of dream or dejavu or memories that you shouldn't have or never happened in ur timeline.

So... what I'm saying is... Ushio or Shadow Ushio. It makes no difference. It could also be just Ushio there, but those memories are of Shadow Ushio passed on to Ushio. I mentioned data because the Shadow themself did mentioned the human information as data before, so this is the idea that I get. Ushio or Shadow Ushio, they are both same personality, same mindset, just 1 with shadow power, 1 is ordinary human. Which is why it doesn't matter if it is Ushio or Shadow Ushio, because those memories have turned into data and transferred into Ushio of current timeline by Shadow Ushio, converting it as part of Ushio.

Meroko Yui • 1 year ago

Goodbye the good lovable remnant Characters, Xion, Kingdom Hearts. Yep reset the timeline with changes having cause and effect Steins Gate agreed but it's also not Steins Gate.

As for Steins Gate if you watch Zero it explains the things that were missing in the first Steins Gate and the alternative timeline beta. Alpha timeline everyone lived at the end with no deaths which was because Okabe stopped Cern in the Beta timeline. Cern used Okabe to get their hands on time travel and kept intentionally killing Mayuri in each timeline that Okabe entered so the beta timeline would play out and they'd use the AI Kurisu without her ability to prevent it to do so. As dead Kurisu leads to AI which leads to alternative timeline Beta which leads to Cern's control over time travel. I'd assume if they do another Steins Gate it'll be about finding Mayuri which we see some of the awkward scenes in Steins Gate 1 of her that aren't explained still and also Okabe turning to jello. However in the case of changing the timeline nothing bad would've actually happened in Steins Gate if Cern didn't intervene in every timeline to kill Miyuri. Hence cause and effect wouldn't really be effected by Chaos Theory like we thought in Steins Gate 1. Also they went past Okabe's historical death to so they have no real sense atm if Okabe really dies. They really found a means to counter how Steins Gate 1 plays out and made the Steins Gate timeline.

Glinda • 1 year ago

It is really bittersweet...

review • 1 year ago

actually shinpei said that he will buy her 10 to 100 takayoaki(i binged)

Meroko Yui • 1 year ago

Ya I didn't remember it and it was the big hint. They didn't say the hospital in the manga so i thought it might've been even when he tried hiding her at the festival at the start, the anime on that helped cleared up when it was stated.

Conan Edogawa • 1 year ago

Does Haine retain her memories or is her soul a blank slate?

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

She has all those memories.

Conan Edogawa • 1 year ago

That's very interesting considering that i read in this comment section that Shinpei was sent to an alternate universe to the one he was in the past 24 episodes 🤔

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

Not alternate universe, just another timeline.

Mufti Saili • 1 year ago

genius is understatement, not only she had superior photographic memory, in the extra chapter Haine prevent her own death by sending message to her past.

Big Bad Wolf strategy of Doctor Who

Kirito • 1 year ago

Well shide just wanted to live forever and see how this human world will end he's also a fan of ff7 remake and when he knows that haine is dying he began making this plan if he can't live then he will destroy this world

Lucyw18 • 1 year ago

im very much down to read Haine's manga

ihavenolife • 1 year ago

tysm

Yu-Chun Hsieh • 1 year ago

Her manga only lasted two chapters, but I think there's a novel coming out starring her and Hizuru.

Mycroft • 1 year ago

So the worldline/parallel world theory is working in this anime. Everytime Shinpei killed himself he's not technically looping or going back to his "time" hours before he died, he actually sent himself to other parallel world wherein the shadow is still exists this means that in all the parallel shadows are existed. But in our MC's Shinpei world is the only one that break that events to happen, together with Ushio shadow of course. And lastly, is Ushio in this Shinpei is alive? Coz if there's no shadow in the first place then she's probably alive, but why Shinpei is going back to their island in what reason? We know that he came back to attend Ushio's funeral, soooo Ushio is still dead?

Kirito • 1 year ago

I knew it they're not changing the timeline they're creating a new timeline so in that other world shide already won

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

Yup, Ushio is alive.
As for why Shinpei returns to their island.
As other stated: Time repairs itself.
Some events are fixed to happen no matter what. Shinpei returning to the island is inevitable. Even if typhoon happened that time or boat not functioning. It is just a matter of time being delayed for Shinpei return to the island.
He 1st left the island is to study at Tokyo.

vovan1 • 1 year ago

My point was this show had no balls to drop characters xD

Everyone live happily ever after, welcome back to Marvel universe :-)

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

Just like how after everything went well, but Takemichi in Tokyo Revengers still want to return to the past to save Mikey then everything goes like this. I bet they gonna make him save Mikey's brother next.
But, what can you expect from time anime? Let people die? Then it makes no sense when people can just return to time and fix and fix and fix to save them. That's why we can't expect a real sad ending.

Only in romance anime that u get the real taste of sadness XD

Puh-layer • 1 year ago

There was a movie "The Time Machine" where the theory insist that you cannot change the past. The protagonist tried to saved his beloved but watched her die time after time in different ways.

Lillith487 • 1 year ago

Love the movie but it only works off one theory
Plz don't be like the guy in the comments of the manga going "this isnt real time travel"

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

Which is why anime such as Steins;Gate and Tokyo Revengers also this one get something such as timeline.
The original will never change, but you will create a new one.

Kirito • 1 year ago

A lot of people died but they also live after finishing the anime lol I was expecting for them to lose and die

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

It isn't simply because it had no balls to drop characters. But... well... the best way to explain this is... Go watch Steins;Gate and think of the Shadow as data in humanoid form.
This kind of ending is to be expected.

vovan1 • 1 year ago

yeah, i guess i'm expecting too much like butterfly effect.

KnowYourPlace • 1 year ago

I think they can produce another ending whereas none of the dead character would be reincarnate so that viewers will have different perspective on it. While some viewers actually want good ending but not for others. Overall, i think this was one of the great series for this season.

Kirito • 1 year ago

Wait so if the other world is cannon then that means the ushio in the timeline in episode 1 already won or they lost so she sent a message to shinpei

KnowYourPlace • 1 year ago

Episode 1 is just a start of shinpei's journey. In that episode, Ushio died right? But she acquire a shadow and that's the one who's contacting shinpei until this episode. Shinpei did not loop on the first ep, that's ushio contacting him coz ushio's shadow can also travel thru space and time. Basically, because of looping, shinpei created a multiple paradox whereas all of them died. So basically shinpei did die multiple times, as well as shadow won their shit but because of his power, his consciousness can travel back into the past creating multiple future paradox because he always change it.

That's a whole different timeline. In this ep, they got rid that kind of shark or dolphin idk but the one who posses the power of shadow and the one that haine got her power from. In that case, that timeline is aboslutely normal and since ushio is already shadow, she vanished as well as ryunosuke and shadow mio. The rest is you can get by watching the last ep.

vovan1 • 1 year ago

can't argue with that, definitely was better than 70% of other animes this season.

mrackermann • 1 year ago

I read this manga a while back.never knew haine had her own .name ?

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

It is similar to Steins;Gate

Love how he land in the oppai and it says I'm home, Shinpei know where he should live( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

And Sensie is back our G cup is here again.

Billy Bob • 1 year ago

Shinpei to oppai: ta dai ma

Xyrus • 1 year ago

If this episode was the ending, it will make this series started on Shinpei bumping to Nagumo-sensei's bosom and ended with Shinpei, again, bumping to Nagumo-sensei's bosom...

Kirito • 1 year ago

But this time there's no more shadow and big oppai g-cup
